Did you know that Denver has one of the biggest parks and recreation systems of any major city in the entire country? In fact, when you look at it as a percentage of open space to urban development, it’s actually the best in the country.

There’s an amazing system of trails and parks, hiking, biking and everything you could want for a major metro area where you can get out close to home and enjoy nature. I’m a heavy user of the parks and recreation system myself. In fact, today, I’ll go for a 30-mile bike ride and never have to cross a street!
