This week’s version is more like This month in Denver Real Estate because I just got, hot off the press, the March 2009 results for  the total Denver metro area residential real estate market.

It continues to be great news for buyers. There’s never been a better time to buy a home here. Prices continue to fall. Prices for March this year were down over 8% vs. last year in March.

The other good news for buyers is that inventory is up. Therefore while prices fall. And as more homes come on the market there continues to be pressure on sellers to give buyers the deals they’re looking for.

So let me do the math for you because I’m sure you’ve heard that interest rates are at an all time low. In fact under 5% for most kinds of loans. So we have:

1) Low interest rates
2) Growing inventory (More choices for you as a buyer)
3) Prices continue to fall

So, after figuring all of that, my numbers say that it’s a great time to buy! In fact, there’s never been a better time to buy.
